My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cedar!

Cedar is a 3-month-old, 11-pound terrier mix who has officially made Santa’s Nice List and even earned honorary Elf status with his big pointy ears and adorable little overbite. This sweet boy is as charming as he is cute!

Cedar loves people and is always tuned in—whether he’s listening for sleigh bells or the crinkle of a treat bag. He’s attentive, affectionate, and already showing how loyal he’ll be to his future family.

He’s doing wonderfully with his house and crate training and enjoys playing with his foster dog siblings before curling up for cuddles. Cedar is great with other dogs, kids, and even cats, making him an easy fit for many types of homes.

If you’re looking for a playful, loving pup who brings both joy and snuggles, Cedar is your guy!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
