Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Josie
This sweet girl is 10 weeks old. She was rescued with her 3 siblings and her mom when she was 2 weeks old. Her mom gave birth outside under a pile of trash. Thanks to a volunteer this little family was rescued. She had to go on a 10 hour road trip to make it to her fosters house where she has grown up. Her mom has an amazing temperament and weights 11 pounds. We were curious about their breed so we did a DNA test and that revealed that she is 38% Chihuahuas, 14% poodle, 13% Chihuahuas, 11% Jack Russel . We are unsure how big she will get but we don't think she will be more than 17 pounds. Josie is the runt so she will. probably. stay like her mom. Josie enjoys to play with her siblings, mom and her fosters Chihuahua. She is more independent and doesn't have to be with her siblings all the time. She likes to venture off and do her down thing or chill with her mom. She enjoys toys and a good bully stick. She is pretty good about going potty on the pee pads but she is going to need a family willing to potty train her. She is a puppy so she will need a patient family that can provide training so she can grow up to be a successful dog. She would do best with someone that works from home or is only gone for a few hours a day. She is a small puppy so she will need a secure fenced in yard. Josie has received her first round of vaccines and has begun her deworming meds at 2 weeks. She will be due for her final dose next week. She is also microchipped. Magnolia Animal Rescue will cover the 2 remaining vaccines on 12/19 and 1/16 and her spay that will need to be completed by 6 months at one of our approved vet partners.
If there are children in the home they must be over 5 years old for her safety since she's so small.
Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that are a good fit for the dog.
