Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is one AMAZING dog due to his show dog appearance and his exceptionally sweet, gentle nature. Besides that he’s well mannered and well trained. Haddock is a 2 1/2 year-old 66 pound Border Collie/Sheepdog/Alaskan Malamute that was surrendered to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/9. A daughter adopted him and brought him home to mom. He was too big for her. He’s very alert and spent the first 10 minutes in the yard scoping everything out. Then he hung out with me. He was very patient when I brushed him. He sat for treats and took them gently. He also gave me his paw without asking. You can see from many of the photos that he is happy. He almost appears to be laughing. He’s friendly, active, and yet gentle and very affectionate. He walks well on a leash. He did not react to other dogs as he passed by. His fur is very thick and would need frequent brushing. Because of his size he would need a yard to play in and then would want to come back in the house to cozy up with his family.
