My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!

I don't always like to share my food, toys or bedding with other animals.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

My Boroughbreaker writes: Pulled but was very gentle otherwise. I was impressed with how delicate she was when we gave her treats and she was very careful not to nip my finger. She is full of excitement and enjoys getting pets

A Volunteer Wrote: Volunteers have fallen in love with Skye, a gentle girl who leans against the front of her pop-up crate asking to be pet and rises oh-so-gently for a hug when she's leashed up and out of it. The achy part of Skye's story is that we've had so much time to fall in love with her, as this is her third stay at the shelter through no fault of her own. She adores anyone willing to show her even the slightest bit of affection and is so deserving of a home to finally call her own. Please consider offering Skye a long-earned chance at forever!
