My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cole!
This adorable little pug/chihuahua mix is as sweet as they come. We pulled him from a shelter, and he’s been nothing but a total gentleman ever since. During intake he was incredibly patient with three silly puppies bouncing all around him — he took it all in stride with his gentle, easygoing nature!

Cole is about 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds. He’s great with other dogs of all sizes, wonderful with kids, and even gets along with cats. He’s the perfect, friendly companion who just wants to be loved. He’s nervous at the rescue so he’d love to get a foster or forever family soon!

If you’re looking for a small, happy, adaptable pup to brighten your home, Cole is ready to meet you!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
