My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bootsie – the grateful lap cat with a huge heart!

After years surviving outdoors, this sweet boy finally knows what it feels like to be safe and loved — and he’s so thankful. Bootsie just wants to be held, and purr on your lap all day long.

He’s incredibly affectionate, and ready for his forever home where he’ll be safe indoors, soaking up sunshine and love.

Bootsie will be shy at first — he tends to warm up more quickly to women — but in a calm and quiet home, with some patience and time, he will open his heart fully. He will be the perfect companion for an experienced cat adopter. He’d do beautifully as an only cat or he might possibly enjoy sharing a home with another friendly and mellow feline.

Bootsie must be a strictly indoor cat in his forever home. After all of the years of being outside, he’s earned a life of safety and comfort.

If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy with a grateful soul, Bootsie’s your guy! 🐾
