If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Cracker was originally found roaming the streets several years ago.
She is estimated to be around 10 years old.
Loves walks and sitting on laps.
Can play with other animals but prefers to be the only pet.
She gets a little feisty sometimes and plays with toys but prefers to play alone.
Does not like being alone. She has separation anxiety.
She does bark at other animals and people during walks or if they come to the door.
She is semi house trained. She will try to hold it and let you know she has to go potty but will go on carpet or try to target a potty a pad if available.
Not a good fit for someone living in an apartment as she will bark at noises in the hallway or when left alone.
Reason for re-homing: She has been our family dog since she was rescued many years ago. She is a great dog and will be missed but we are no longer able to give her the time that she needs.
