My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Moses is a beautiful 1-year-old, 65-pound, black male German Shepherd who is ready for a new chapter. He came from the same house as Tails, Cutie Pie and her puppies, but thanks to Washington Health Outreach, he’s now safe, healthy, and ready to meet the world.

Moses is friendly and quickly shows his eagerness to explore new things. He enjoys meeting new people and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He’s working on his confidence, is well behaved in his crate, and loves to connect with those around him. With a loving family, Moses will be a loyal, devoted companion and will thrive in a calm, caring home.

Foster Update:

Moses is the nicest boy—and that’s not said lightly. His foster dads have welcomed dozens and dozens of dogs into their home over the years, and Moses has truly stood out among them. He has a gentle, easygoing nature and a sweet presence that just makes you feel good to be around him.

He loves to play with the large-breed female dogs in his foster home and is excellent on leash, making walks a joy rather than a chore. Moses also has incredibly expressive eyes and isn’t afraid to use them—he can lay the guilt on thick when he wants a little extra attention or a treat, and it’s almost impossible to resist.

Moses is currently growing his coat back and we think he’s going to be a real showstopper at adoption events once it’s fully in. He’s also finding his voice and can be a vocal guy, so he’s best suited for a home with space—no apartments or condos for this boy.

If you’re looking for a kind-hearted, affectionate companion with personality for days and a face you’ll fall for instantly…look no further!
