Does not get along with other pet

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brandy is 7 years old. My ex and I adopted her as a puppy. I have another dog in my house-a Doberman mix who is 9 years old. They got along well up until 2022 when my ex left to go stay with his mother who was ill. After he left, the dogs started fighting. Brandy was the instigator for most of the fights. I have had success with keeping them separated, however, my father is 84 years old and in the past year his health has begun to decline and I am afraid of something happening when I am at work during the day. I am afraid of him leaving the door open and Brandy getting out and fighting with my other dog, or Brandy getting away from him when he puts her outside during the day and him not being able to get her back.

I feel that Brandy would do better in a home where she is not as confined as she is now. She would do well with adults and as the only dog, and with someone who understands her breed.
