Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Cher — and yes, I live up to my name. I’m a chatty, affectionate girl who loves to “sing” to my people until they come sit with me. Once you do, I’m all about lap time, biscuit-making, and soaking up pets.
I can be a little unsure in brand-new spaces, but I warm up quickly — especially when there are kind humans around. I’ve enjoyed every person I’ve met so far, including kids, though I’d be happiest in a home where people understand that even loving cats sometimes need quiet time and their boundaries respected. I adore affection, just on my terms (no belly rubs or paw touching, please).
I’m a pretty chill gal overall. My ideal day includes napping, watching the world from a high perch, and supervising my queendom from a cat tower. I enjoy wand toys and will occasionally surprise you with adorable zoomies, but I’d do just fine in a home where my humans are out during the day — as long as I get plenty of love before and after.
When it comes to other animals, I prefer slow, respectful introductions. I’ve been okay around cats and dogs who give me space, and I could live with another calm pet who understands that I like to set the rules.
My foster mom is looking for an experienced, cat-savvy adopter for me — especially someone who is mindful about doors, windows, and outdoor access. I’m a curious and confident girl who has slipped outside before, and I’ll need a home that’s prepared to manage that curiosity safely. Because I’m so interested in the outside world, a secure setup like a catio would be an amazing way for me to enjoy fresh air while staying safe.
I’m fully litter box trained, affectionate, vocal, and full of personality. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will bond deeply with you and understand how to set a cat like me up for success, I’d love to meet you.
