Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Cher! I’m very friendly, and I love to be pet. My foster mom named me Cher because I’m always singing for her to come pet me. I love to sit in her lap and make biscuits. Sometimes I’m a little nervous at first in a new space, but I warm up quickly — especially if there are people around to give me pets! I’ve liked every human I’ve met so far. I’ve even met some of the little humans, and I liked them too. I’m not sure I would want to live with a very tiny human full time though because as much as I love to be pet, sometimes I want my own rest and relaxation time. I appreciate a human who can respect boundaries.
I spend most of the day napping and looking out my favorite window. I really like to be high above the room on a cat tower while I keep watch over my queendom. I like to play with a wand toy sometimes, but overall, I’m pretty chill. I would do fine in a home where the humans are gone during the day as long as I get lots of pets before and after!
I haven’t met any other cats yet, but I think I would do okay after a slow introduction. I also think that I would be okay around a dog as long as the dog knows that I’m the boss and doesn’t try to chase me or anything like that. I’ve seen my foster mom’s dog around, and while I’m a little nervous so far – we just met! – I think that we’ll be okay because he’s very polite.
I am looking for an experienced cat adopter because my foster mom says that I’m a “flight risk” (whatever that means). She got super concerned when I darted out the front door and disappeared for a few days, but I don’t know what she was so worried about! Since I’m so interested in the outdoors, I would definitely enjoy a catio.
Oh, I’m also very good at using the litter box! My foster mom said that you’d want to know that. Fill out a pre-adoption application at the link above to come meet me in my foster home. I can’t wait!
Xoxo, Cher
