My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cranberry is a playful, affectionate cat who’s full of charm and sweetness. 🍒 She loves spending time with both cats and dogs, making her a great fit for a home with other friendly pets. Cranberry enjoys toys, cozy naps, and being close to her favorite people. With her cheerful personality and gentle cuddles, she brings warmth to every room she enters. She’s a wonderful companion ready to share love and fun with her new family! 🐾

Come meet this animal (and many others!) this Wednesday from 2 PM to 6 PM at Brother Wolf Animal Rescue!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Visit our website at www.bwar.org/adopt and fill out our adoption survey. This helps us get to know you and make a good match.

2.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We have all adopters to meet an animal at the shelter or in foster before taking them home. Dog adoptions currently require an appointment.

3.

Meet the Pet

Meet with our available animals and speak with one of our experienced adoption counselors. You may visit with more than one animal.

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

Once you have met your perfect match, most of our animals are ready to go home the same day! Most of our animals do have an adoption fee.

Additional adoption info

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue works to remove barriers in the adoption process and work collaboratively with our adopters. We ask that all adopters fill out our online adoption survey so we can learn more about you and help to make the perfect match. You can fill out the survey on our website: www.bwar.org/adopt.

Most of our animals are ready to go home with you the same day you meet them.

All animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.

Adoption fees are refundable within two weeks from the date of adoption if the animal is returned.

Adopters are required to be at least 18 years of age.

Adoptions end at the Adoption Center’s scheduled closing time – 6pm Tuesday to Saturday.

More about this rescue

Founded in 2007, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue enhances the lives of companion animals and the people who love them. We work across county lines with the goal of saving the greatest number of lives possible through strategic, creative, and impactful programming.

Through adoption and pet retention programs, a low-cost mobile spay and neuter clinic, lifesaving shelter transfer partnerships, extensive volunteer and foster networks, and a trap-neuter-return program for community cats, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue impacts the lives of thousands of animals each year in the Western North Carolina region.
