Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Pepper, a two-year-old tortie who has truly blossomed in her foster environment. She came from a shelter where she was not thriving, but she has quickly came out of her shell and now loves people and exploring her surroundings. Curious, gentle, and friendly, Pepper will do well with kind, respectful children, and her sweet nature suggests she could be a good fit for many types of loving homes. Let us know if you'd like to meet her!
For more information, contact Jake’s Place 415-548-0824. We would love to chat with you about Pepper!
All Jake’s Place cats that are available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped.
The Adoption Fee for Pepper is $110. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails at any time. All Fees will be returned if the adoption fails within 90 days.
Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.

The volunteers at Jake's Place are diverse group of dedicated animal lovers. Some of us have worked in rescue before, some are new to it. Some of us have known each other for years, others more recently involved. Having all come together in the last few years and finding that we had the same passion to help cats, we started thinking about the possibilities of putting our various expertise to work in creating something wonderful. While Jake's Place is a relatively new organization, our work goes back 14 years and our energy and drive is stronger than ever. We are committed to rescuing responsibly, fostering in loving & caring homes and finding the best possible forever homes.
