My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Videl, and I’m a sleek little black shorthair kitten with a curious mind and a heart full of love. I’m playful, affectionate, and always ready to explore new corners of my world, or pounce on a toy that moves just right!

I can be a little cautious at first, but once I know you’re a friend, I love cuddles, gentle pets, and being near my humans. I’m smart, adventurous, and enjoy both quiet snuggle time and playful antics, depending on the mood of the day.

I’m looking for a patient, loving family who will help me grow confident, happy, and full of joy. If you’re searching for a sweet, curious, and playful little companion to brighten your days, I’d be so excited to meet you, and maybe even become your new best friend! Adopt me today!

More about this shelter

The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
