My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harley is a sweet senior boy who loves being close to his people. He happily follows his humans around the house and makes a wonderful, calm companion. He enjoys cozy spots, gentle affection, and just being near you.

Harley is 13 years old. Harley prefers to be the only pet, no other cats or dogs for this gentleman, so he can have all the love to himself.

Harley's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting Harley, complete an online adoption application and we will contact you to meet him.

More about this shelter

We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.

Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.

Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
