Penny is a sweet and stunning girl with a gorgeous copper and golden coat that inspired her nickname. She’s been settling in beautifully and is really coming out of her shell. Once she trusts you, Penny will greet you at the door, curl up beside you on the couch, and happily accept pets and playtime. She’s also wonderfully independent—low-maintenance, self-sufficient, and content to explore the house or lounge solo when she’s not socializing with her roommates. She’ll let you know when she’s ready for some solo time, often wandering off to explore or perch somewhere cozy for a little quiet time.
Penny has a gentle way of making her presence known, strutting up and down the stairs to say hello. Because she’s still decompressing and building confidence, she’d do best in a calm home without other pets or young children.
If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion with a touch of sass and a heart of gold, Penny might be your perfect match! Penny is currently in a foster home! If you are interested in meeting her, please email dclifesaving@bvspca.org!
