My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Home will be required to be within at 1.5hr radius to Lyles, TN

Olivia is a 6yr old Airedale Terrier that was an owner surrender after her elderly owner fell and was unable to walk her any longer. Olivia was a breeding dog from Europe and used for breeding purposes shipped to multiple states only until a couple years ago when she ended up in a rescue in Texas. That is when her last owner adopted her and she was transported to Nashville. Olivia lived most of her life outdoors with other dogs and is just learning to trust people. She LOVES other dogs and they have been a great bridge in showing Olivia people are ok. She is now being affectionate and willingly wanting attention from us. It has been wonderful to watch her blossom into the dog she was meant to be, happy go lucky and playful. Olivia knows basic commands now, walks excellent on a leash and likes car rides. We will require a home for Olivia MUST be quiet, have at least one other social playful dog and a fully fenced yard. These requirements are non negotiable! Because she is shy no small children and we are looking for an adopter who understands dog behavior and what it takes to help a fearful dog feel safe, build trust, and blossom.
