Poppy was adopted as a puppy in Denver during the pandemic before we had children. She came from New Mexico, and I immediately fell in love with her.
Poppy is a 5 year old cattle dog mix, about 35-40 lbs. She has lived and gotten along with our other dog, a Golden Retriever. She loves to lay on the couch with you, loves pets, and relaxes for most of the day.
Poppy needs to be rehomed because we have a 4 and 1.5 year old, and she does not like living with small children. She doesn’t want them to pet her, and just wants them
To leave her alone.
She will do fine in a home with another dog, or by herself.
Shes a sweet girl, but has some challenges on leash when passing other dogs.
