Meet Sammy, a confident, handsome tabby who originally showed up as a stray and quickly made himself known and at home! At 2–3 years old, Sammy is affectionate, people-oriented, and the kind of cat who will happily follow you around like a little shadow. If allowed, he would even join you on walks—he’s that bonded.
Sammy is gradually allowed to come inside and needs a safe indoor-only lifestyle with enrichment and routine. With his curious, adventurous personality, he may enjoy leash training, window perches, cat towers, or a secure catio.
Sammy can be a dominant cat, especially in outdoor territory. Indoors, he does much better with other cats, but he may overwhelm a timid cat. He’s looking for a home that fits his energy and confidence.
Sammy would do well with:
An indoor-only home with good enrichment
Cat-savvy adopters who understand confident personalities
Adults and teens, he hasn’t been around young children
Other cats who are not easily intimidated

We are a foster-based rescue. Our animals are in homes while in foster care rather than in a shelter. Once the application and home check are complete, a meet and greet will be scheduled with the foster family. Once the family decides on the animal, the contract will be processed and adoption fee with be paid and they can take the pet home that day.
