Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.
We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around WA state & Oregon but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA.
Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, PayPal, if using PayPal the potential adopter will have to pay the fees & charges with PayPal.
Anna has seen & witnessed evil in life. She was pulled out of a slaughterhouse with one of our other rescues Kimi while he was covered in blood & the butcher had already started chopping him up & they both were surrounded by a pile of deceased bloody dogs.
We also know that they debarked her. Soul destroying to think of what she has been through & yet she still loves human beings even after everything she has seen, heard & her previous life. We cannot even begin to imagine what Anna witnessed & heard when she was at the slaughterhouse. How Anna ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption & yes you did read that correctly, we will never know? What we do know is, she was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time.
Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued Anna & many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting Anna out, her fate was a torturous death. We believe every sweet soul such as Anna & her friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life.
Now Anna is looking for a special family to cherish her & be patient with her & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all his needs.
Anna was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough.
Anna was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home.
We can’t stress how sweet Anna is. She will even put her paws on you for cuddles just as she cuddles into you while sleeping next to you. She radiates gratitude. She just wants you to love her & she will love you back. She adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in her life to show her such true love & affection apart from a day or 2 at her foster home in China.
She is a really smart girl too because on the day of arrival in her foster home she taught herself to run up hardwood stairs & follow her foster mum.
When she finds people who love her they become his world. She is such a soft gentle schnauzer her foster mum said with a very sweet personality.
She loves to run & play with her foster siblings & must go to a home with another dog who will play with her.
She loves a good outfit & will get ready for you to put one on her.
Anna eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats & supplements. She also enjoys collagen sticks & bully sticks.
All of her treats are homemade
Anna has been taught to walk on harness & leash & has been doing wonderful. She would need continued work walking on her harness & leash. Anna is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Anna adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming her, baths, the hairdryer she loves it all. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love.
Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Anna & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. So far she has not started showing interest in toys in her foster home.
Anna has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. She is such an amazing, loving little lady. With Anna we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl. We are also looking for a forever home for Anna where someone is home during the day or Anna can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them.

Anna has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings & will want to sleep in bed with you & she does in her current loving foster home.
A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Anna’s new forever home if it’s a free standing home.
Anna is now roughly 17 lbs & 6 years old. She is spayed & a schnauzer & what she is mixed with we are not sure? She is microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHLPP, rabies & dewormed.
Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs.
We have spent over $2000 on Anna with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare paying for her medical care, including, shots, spay microchip etc, than her adoption fee comes close to covering.
Anna has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Anna with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals.
We were not there when Anna was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is.
As with all of our rescues & Anna’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Anna potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.
We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying.
