My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kayli had a rough start in life. She was abandoned outside by humans who were supposed to care for her. We were told that she miraculously survived outside for months, living off of the vegetables and plants that kind neighbors gave her to eat. When HRN volunteers found out about her, they raced to the neighborhood and found her right away. She let us walk right up to her to offer her food and we were able to bring her to safety. For the first three days all Kayli did was eat and sleep. Most rabbits take weeks to feel comfortable enough to flop in their new homes but Kayli was so tired, she passed right out. The poor thing was underweight and exhausted from her ordeal. But as soon as Kayli got some much needed sleep, without the burden of survival, she immediately blossomed into the best house rabbit ever! Even though Kayli's first family abandoned her, she has no trouble trusting humans. She loves snuggling down for pets from her foster family! Kayli wants to be in a home where she can be free roam and spend as much time as she can near her humans. In her foster home, she sleeps in the bedroom with her parents at night and loves using her pet stairs to lay with them in bed or wake them up on the weekends when they sleep in, instead of getting her her breakfast. Kayli has excellent litterbox habits and will keep you smiling with her silly energy.

Kayli is a true reprsentation of the mission of House Rabbit Network. When animals are free from hunger and pain and are offered comfort and love, they thrive! We are so proud of Kayli's bravery and ability to trust, we know she will make any family very happy. Are you the right home to give this girl the happily ever after she deserves?
