DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Rhett! Rhett is a stunning brindle Plott Hound mix with a heart as beautiful as his coat. This gorgeous fella found himself in an overcrowded shelter in Alabama, but his luck turned around when K-9 Lifesavers stepped in and gave him the second chance he deserves. Rhett is an absolute sweetheart—oh, can he cuddle! This lap-loving boy adores snuggling up with his people and soaking in all the affection. He’s also wonderful with other dogs and has a happy-go-lucky, fun personality that brightens every room he enters. At his young age, Rhett is in the perfect stage for training and socialization, making now the ideal time to welcome him into your home. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
