Meet Squash — a 10-year-old fluffy gentleman whose life recently fell apart.
Squash lost his mom, and now this soft, slightly confused marshmallow is trying to figure out why everything feels different and why his blankets don’t smell the same anymore. He’s shy, reserved, and honestly just trying his best.
He’s not the cat who will barrel into your arms on day one… or day ten. But if you give him time, patience, and a quiet home where the loudest thing is maybe a softly burping chihuahua or a very chill cat, he will slowly unfold like a sad little flower who finally realizes the sun is warm again.
Squash dreams of a calm, predictable life with someone who looks at him and thinks, “Yeah… that’s my little guy.” He doesn’t want chaos. He doesn’t want drama. He just wants to feel safe, loved, and understood.
It might take a bit for him to settle in, but once he does, you’ll have earned the trust of a cat who has been through loss and still has love left to give.
