My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ducky — The Petite Orange Beauty With a Big Heart

Ducky is a stunning medium/longhaired orange tabby — a rare little gem, since orange girls are uncommon! Petite, sweet, and endlessly curious, this lovely girl is the perfect mix of gentle and playful.

Ducky and her siblings were abandoned under a house in Jacksonville when they were tiny “mush babies,” but despite her rough start, she has grown into an affectionate, loving kitten. She may be a little timid at first, but with just a bit of patience, her soft personality blossoms beautifully.

In her foster home, Ducky spends her days playing with the other cats, cuddling up with the resident dog, and soaking up love and attention from her foster family. She’s even great with kids — patient, gentle, and happy to be part of the action.

If you’re looking for a sweet, curious, and cuddly companion who gets along with everyone, Ducky is the little orange sweetheart you’ve been waiting for.

Our rescue provides all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, combo tested and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip registration. To apply to adopt, please visit our website www.fcocinc.org and click "Adopt" under the cat you're interested in.
