Talus is not a complacent lap cat. (Yet).
She is a goony independent, playful sweetheart. Easy going and easily adaptable and lots of attitude...probably because she is a Dilute Torti - to the uninitiated eye, sometimes looks grey, sometime looks tan, quietly all 100% Torti.
Angelic head tilt / chewing treat bag open = 100% torti-tude.
Cuddle cuddly cuddle bear/ bitey bitey bite = 100% torti-tude.
Pick me up and hold me / don't kiss me mom, the other kids are watching = 100% torti-tude.
Eats everything she finds / refuses all bowls of many different food, brands and types this week = 100% torti-tude.
Sleeps motionless between your knees locking you in place / curls up under your chin, but wiggles around like a sack of mice in a bag, with teeth = 100% torti-tude.
She has held a job for much of her life as a mood booster. She's travelled for day visits to other friends' homes to cheer folks up by being super fun and cute, and maybe also biting them.
Very excited to play with any that will play. She will whack them to initiate a good chase. Poor kid's manners are rambunctiously awkward.
Torti supply is life long but hurry now while she's small.
She is almost 4 months old as of 11/24/2025, spayed and vaccinated.

Submit Application
People can view our cats on-line and can see some of them in the adoption centers. An application can be for a particular cat or a TBD.
Approve Application
Processing takes about 3-5 business days. Upon approval, a meet & great and/or adoption will be arranged.
Meet the Pet
An approved app is needed to meet cats that are with fosters & in our clinic/shelters and may be needed to meet adoption center cats.
Sign Adoption Contract
The adoption counselor will review the paperwork and the medical form with the adopter. This is a good time to ask questions before signing.
Pay Fee
Adoption fees are based upon the age of the cat - kitten, adult, 7+ yrs. - how many cats are being adopted and special needs cats.
Take the Pet Home
An adopted pet must be taken home in a carrier. If there are other pets at home, please give them a slow intro period of about 2 weeks.
