My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spot — the smart, happy cattle dog who’s ready to live life to the fullest right by your side! 🐾✨

Spot is a bright, joyful boy with classic cattle dog smarts and a heart full of enthusiasm. He loves to stay busy, loves to learn, and loves being part of the action. Whether he’s exploring, playing, or showing off his clever mind, Spot approaches every moment with excitement and a big smile.

He’s also fantastic with other dogs, thriving in social settings and enjoying time with canine friends who match his playful energy. Spot is the kind of dog who brings fun wherever he goes — curious, alert, and always ready for the next adventure.

If you’re looking for an active, intelligent companion who embraces every day with joy, Spot is your guy. With structure, engagement, and a family who appreciates his zest for life, he’ll be the happiest pup around.

If you’re ready for a loyal, lively, full-of-life partner, come meet Spot — he’s ready to make every day an adventure! 💛🐶Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
