Meet Cedar — the bold, beautiful tabby who knows exactly who he is and isn’t afraid to tell you!
If you’re looking for a cat who will keep you entertained, make you laugh, and confidently run the show (in the most charming way possible), Cedar might just be your perfect match.
Cedar is a chatty, playful, and curious guy with energy to spare. He loves interactive play, exploring new spaces, and surveying his kingdom from the highest perch he can find. A home with vertical space, cat trees, or wall shelves would be his dream playground.
While he’s full of spirit, Cedar also enjoys affection—especially chin scratches and brushing sessions—just as long as his humans respect his boundaries when he’s ready for a break. He’s not shy about communicating his needs, and he appreciates people who listen.
Cedar is searching for a home that understands and celebrates his big personality—a place where he can express his independence, soak up enrichment, and thrive with humans who enjoy a confident cat with a little spice.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. Please complete an application if you are interested in meeting one of our adoptable pets. Applications are reviewed in the order received.
Approve Application
Once submitted, one of our volunteer Application Processors will conduct necessary background/landlord/vet and reference checks.

Once your application has been processed and approved, it is forwarded along to the pets foster caregiver for review and to reach out to you
