Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Ziggy. Was found by someone and they took her to a southern vet clinic, who reached out to the shelter. Ziggy is 5 months old and under 15lbs. Obviously some type of smaller terrier. She is great with the resident dogs, foster can’t say enough good about her. Ziggy is headed to Maine to find her forever family.
Adoption fee is $475

More about this rescue
Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.
PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
