My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky is a great dog, we’re just not the right home for him. His owner, my partner’s son, died earlier this year and we’re taking care of him, but it’s clear he needs more than we can give him. He has no boundaries and loves everyone he meets. A little consistent training would likely help with the boundaries. He also needs A LOT of attention, like 8-year old kid run and play kind of attention.

Rocky is house and crate trained. He does not like the squirt bottle and will seriously consider his actions if he thinks he’s likely to be squirted. Full disclosure, he has peed on bags/boxes in the floor, but I’m guessing this most likely stems from boredom and his need for attention.

Other Rocky facts: He’s 5-6 years old, weighs 60lbs, and is neutered. Drools like crazy when in a car. Walks ok on a leash but can be leash aggressive to other dogs, lots of barking and lunging (mostly I think because he’s excited, just doesn’t necessarily appear that way).
