Bruce Barrow is a 6-year-old, 11.5 pound, small mixed breed (maybe Min Pin - Chihuahua - terrier?) whose soft spirit makes him impossible not to love. He came to AAU rescue a bit underweight, and should fill out to around 14 pounds with steady meals and kindness.
Shy at first meeting, Bruce is the kind of dog who watches the world carefully before deciding it’s safe. Give him a little time, and his whole demeanor transforms. Once he trusts you, he becomes sweet, gentle, and oh-so-affectionate. Pick him up, and he just melts right into your arms like he’s been waiting his whole life for a person to hold him close.

Meet the Pet
Our pets are located in foster homes. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster family.
Home Check
The foster family will do a brief home visit to ensure that it's a perfect match between family & pet!
Pay Fee
Adoption fees range from $50 - $150 for cats and $150 - $300 for dogs. Specials and discounts may apply.
