My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet ANGIE – A Regal Beauty in Need of a Loving Home!

Angie is an absolutely stunning gray-striped lady with a soft white chest, tall stature, and expressive face framed by dark eyeliner. She's not just a pretty face—Angie is affectionate, gentle, smart, and full of personality.

What Makes Angie So Special:

  • Total Lap Cat – Loves cuddling, napping in your lap, and keeping you company in bed or on the couch.

  • Big Talker – She’ll answer to her name and loves a good conversation with her human.

  • TV Buddy – Will watch your favorite shows with you, quietly content just to be close.

  • Smart & Social – Responds to your voice, head butts affectionately, and truly thrives on connection.

  • Low Maintenance – Easy to care for, doesn’t require much beyond love and safety.

We’re offering a trial placement!
✅ All supplies covered!! Even fostering will help her so much!!
✅ Rescue support every step of the way

Give Angie a chance. Let her show you how rewarding it is to save a life. She has so much love to give, and just needs one kind heart to say yes.

Please reach out now if you can help—time is critical!

Best Home Match:

Angie prefers a calm home with one or two adults. She’d be happiest as your one and only (she’s a little bossy with other cats—can you blame her after street life?).

Her Journey

Angie’s story is one of strength and survival:

  • Angie’s life has been one of resilience and survival. She was abandoned not once, but twice. Originally adopted from DeKalb County Animal Control in 2023, her adopter disappeared, contact info deleted; leaving her to fend for herself OUTSIDE in a crummy apartment complex with feral cats for over a year.

She had to fight for every scrap of food, often approaching kind feral feeders, desperate for a kind touch. Despite her struggles, Angie never stopped seeking love.

It took our rescue team over 7 months to rescue her, but once inside, Angie immediately transformed into a loving house cat. Now, she’s ready for a real home.

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

More about this rescue

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals.
