My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wesley is a sweet, outgoing little guy who loves pretty much everyone. He’s full of energy and always ready to play—springs are his absolute favourite—but he’s just as happy to curl up and sleep with you all night. He’ll even claim the pillow right beside you. He’s the perfect mix of cuddly lap cat and playful kitten, super easy-going, and totally fine being picked up, brushed, or having his nails trimmed. He’s not a picky eater, loves following his humans from room to room. And his funniest quirk? Wesley sometimes poops while balancing upright on two legs—yes, really. Wesley gets along great with other cats, both kittens and older ones, but he is bonded with his brother, Sam and they MUST be adopted together.

Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first come, first served.

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
