My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: May 15, 2025

Located in Waterloo, ON

Archie is an absolute love bug with endless energy and a playful spirit. He adores both humans and fellow cats, happily introducing himself first and making sure everyone knows he’s the life of the party. Confident and talkative, Archie will chat with you if he feels you’re not giving him the attention his cuteness deserves. He’s also a devoted lap cat who loves to supervise computer work or join you for cozy couch time.

Archie thrives on exploration and fun, always eager to be the center of attention. He wanders through every room to investigate and play with anyone he meets, whether human or feline. His quirky personality shines through in his love of touching faces, fascination with zippers, and endless enthusiasm for toys. Despite his mild wobbles, he has an impressive ability to escape and jump baby gates, often leading his siblings in mischievous adventures. He enjoys running on cat wheels, flopping into laps, and proudly taking on the role of ringleader in group play.

Archie has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, also known as wobbly cat syndrome. This non progressive neurological condition affects coordination and balance, but it doesn’t slow him down or diminish his zest for life. He will never get worse, and his wobbles only add to his charm, especially when he gets excited and runs with his signature adorable wobble.

Because of his condition, Archie needs to remain an indoor cat in a safe environment with blocked off stairs, ramps, or low fixtures to play on. He may be a little goofy compared to other cats, but he is endlessly endearing, full of energy, and overflowing with love.

Choosing Archie means welcoming a cat who will fill your life with joy, laughter, and affection. He is ready to share his heart with adopters who understand his wobbly syndrome and are committed to creating a safe, loving home where he can thrive.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fee is $225 per adult cat, and $300 for kittens (under 8 months old).

This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $225.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $175 per cat vs. $225 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
