Itsy is 1-2 years old likely because she was found as a stray! She is a spayed 30 lb female which is likely a mix of Pug and German Shepherd. That's because she was found in San Antonio, Texas which is a place where breeders are getting Pugs and German Shepherds bred together! Crazy! Per Itsy's foster she is: dog friendly, cat friendly, kennel trained, good with small kids, good on walks, potty trained, and rides well in a car! She deserves a loving home! We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Interview
Vet reference check is done if they have or had previous pets and applicant is interviewed on phone as well to insure compatibility
Meet the Pet
A meet and greet is set up with potential adopter and pet at a agreed upon location
Home Check
Home visit is required to check the safety of the home where pet will be adopted into.
Sign Adoption Contract
Owner completes an adoption contract and I visit pet within a week at the new home.
