Charlie needs a foster home!!
Meet Charlie — 2-3 Year old Schnauzer/Terrier With a Big, Brave Heart.
Charlie is young, but he has already endured more than any dog should. When he was found, our vet believes he had been neglected for six months to a year. His 13 lb body was hidden beneath painful mats that took hours to remove. But underneath it all… was the sweetest little soul just waiting to be seen.
Despite everything he’s been through, he is gentle, loving, and endlessly forgiving. He melts into your arms when you hold him and looks up at you with the softest eyes — the kind that say “thank you” without a single word. He’s wonderful with other dogs and even cats, and he just wants to be close to someone who cares.
Charlie checked out well at the vet (aside from a treatable eye infection he’s receiving medication for), and now he’s finally ready to start his new life… but he needs a safe place to land. We are desperately searching for a foster home for this precious little boy. After so much neglect, he deserves warmth, softness, and love — even if only until he finds his forever family.
Do you have room in your home… and in your heart? He’s good with cats and other dogs.
Charlie has eye mediations for both eyes and is doing great. He may need eye medications for life for dry eyes and potential adopters need to understand this if interested in adopting Charlie.
