What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Winnie is a 2 year old, 45lbs Hound/pit/lab mix with a lot of love and energy. She is fully obedience trained and enjoys being an adventure dog almost as much as being a lap dog. Everyone who meets Winnie loves her because she is incredibly friendly. Winnie's ideal home is to an individual or family that can give her attention and a lot daily exercise. Her ideal home would be living on land, a farm, or with someone who runs/bikes multiple miles a day. She would make an excellent guard dog. She has spent time on 60 acres of land and adored running the perimeter, chasing off the coyotes.
Winnie has some anxious tendencies and gets easily overstimulated specifically around puppies and young children. She is great with other dogs and kids eventually but needs to be introduced carefully. The reason we need to rehome Winnie is that we are Military and having a baby so we just don't have the time and energy to care for her properly.
