Welcome Sweet Oscar!

Oscar is a six-month-old, 15-pound Border Terrier mix puppy. He is full of puppy energy and loves attention, toys, and food. Now that he is a bit older, Oscar's favorite activity is playing with the other small dogs in his foster home. Oscar has lots of energy for playtime and is very affectionate; he enjoys being a lap companion.

Oscar is housetrained and sleeps in a dog bed at night. He is crated when his foster mom runs errands, but, as a puppy, he should not be crated all day. We are looking for a forever home where someone is home often and can dedicate time to continue his socialization, basic obedience training, and active play. Oscar must have another small playful dog in his forever home.

Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $350, which helps cover medical expenses for the rescue.

Adoption is a lifetime commitment. After an application and a verbal interview is completed and it is determined that the adoption is a compatible match, a contract is signed with specific guidelines. An adoption fee (usually between $250-$500) to help off-set medical, feeding and Rescue costs is collected. The contract states that at any time the adoption does not work out, the dog is to be returned to our Rescue group for alternate placement. The dog is not to be 'given away' or 'rehomed' or 'taken to the pound'. If there are other dogs in the home, they must meet prior to adoption. All family members in the household have to agree to the adoption. No dog is to be adopted as a 'gift'. No out of state adoptions.
