Jet – 17 Pounds of Pure Love - needs a home NOW!

Jet may greet new people with a little hiss, but don’t let that fool you—he’s just a big boy who’s feeling a bit unsure after all the changes in his life. He tends to follow the hiss with a little "meow," almost saying, "Sorry, I really did not mean that." Once he realizes you’re a friend, this gentle giant would gladly take on the role of professional lap warmer.

Jet came to us after his owner moved into a nursing home, and sadly no family members were able to take him in. He arrived very matted, and even during his full shave-down in to a lion cut, he never tried to scratch or bite—just a sweet soul trying to understand what’s happening. He will require frequent brushing in the future to prevent matting from occurring again.

This handsome boy is talkative, loves having full conversations, and will soon show you just how affectionate he can be. Jet has a huge heart to match his size, and he’s ready to pour all that love into his new forever family.
