My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Banjo! 🎶🐾
Looking for a true hound dog? Banjo is your guy! This sweet, soulful boy is all beagle—from his expressive eyes and big personality to his love of sniffing every inch of the yard.

Banjo is about 8 years old and weighs 43 pounds. He’s incredibly lovable and gets along well with other dogs. He’s the perfect mix of friendly, social, and laid-back, and he brings that classic beagle charm everywhere he goes. Banjo enjoys following his nose, saying hello to everyone he meets, and settling in for cozy naps after a good sniffari.

If you adore beagles, you’ll absolutely fall in love with Banjo. He’s ready to bring companionship, joy, and those iconic beagle howls to a lucky home!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
