My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Birdie! ✨
This adorable 1-year-old, 14-pound Schnauzer is as sweet as they come! Birdie is beautifully groomed, friendly, and has the perfect medium energy level—playful when you’re ready for fun and calm when it’s time to relax.

She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves people, too. Birdie has a gentle, social personality that makes her an easy fit for just about any home. She’s simply a happy little girl ready to bring joy wherever she goes!

If you’re looking for a loving companion with a sparkling personality, Birdie is your girl.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
