Animal Information: Lizzie is a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing about 22 pounds. She ended up in an overcrowded San Bernardino shelter and was at risk due to lack of space. Even in that environment she stayed sweet and easy to handle and she gets along well with other dogs. Thanks to a wonderful foster she is now safe in rescue. We will share more about Lizzie as we get to know her.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).

All potential adopters must complete the adoption application including veterinary and personal references. In addition, a home check may be required. Adoptions will not be approved without an in-person meeting with the adoptable dog and a volunteer or foster from the rescue organization. Dog Gone Seattle is a Seattle-based non-profit corporation established in 2013 as a community based organization and in 2017 as a non-profit corporation seeking to place homeless dogs in forever homes in the Seattle area. We take in dogs from high-kill shelters in California and Texas, as well as dogs from unfortunate circumstances in Washington and beyond.
