My mom adopted Sparky from a shelter years ago. She has passed and I can no longer care for him. He’s a sweet senior boy, about 13 years old. Even though he’s older, he still has bursts of energy, especially at the dog park where he loves to explore and trot around. At home, he’s calm, relaxed, and enjoys cuddling or napping in his own space.
He loves being around people and other animals and has never shown any aggression. The only thing that scares him is thunder, but with reassurance he settles down.
I’m looking for a new home that can offer him stability, love, and a peaceful environment. He does well in both energetic and quiet homes, as long as he’s given attention, kindness, and a comfortable place to rest.
Some words to describe him: gentle, affectionate, loyal, easygoing, social, and surprisingly playful for his age.
