Meet Maddie, a sweet and spirited 7-year-old mixed terrier looking for her perfect forever home. She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and happiest playing fetch, splashing in the water, or snuggling under a blanket with her humans. She adores ear scritches, baby carrots, and learning new tricks—especially when treats are involved!
Maddie also loves tracking chipmunks. While her recall is excellent, a fenced yard is ideal to keep her safe during her explorations.
She’s a sensitive soul who thrives with a little support and takes daily antianxiety medication and Proin, both of which she often takes with cheese!
Maddie prefers all four paws on the ground and does not enjoy being picked up. She would do best as the only dog in a calm, adult home—young children and other dogs make her nervous, and she blossoms most when she feels secure.
