Maple is a 2.5 year old female golden retriever. She is very sweet to humans, loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. She LOVES to swim and is excellent at playing fetch.
Unfortunately we need to rehome her due to her not being able to get along with other dogs. Full transparency, maple is aggressive with other dogs, and needs to be an only pet. Besides her being aggressive with other dogs she genuinely is such a sweet pup. She’s smart, and decently trained. She knows sit, down, and place.
Maple has been around kids before and done great, but with her history of aggression towards other dogs I think a home with no children would probably be the best fit for overall safety.
We have had maple since she was about 5 months old and has always shown aggression towards other dogs so we are unsure of the cause.
We love her deeply but need to protect our other pets and our young kids from potentially accidentally getting in the middle of a dog fight.
We want her to go to a loving home.
