My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nemo is a 1 year old, 38lb, male red mottled Heeler. Nemo is a very playful, high energy dog that needs a lot of personal attention. He was bought from a responsible breeder. He’s smart and a fast learner, and loves to be wherever you are. He will hike with you, swim with you and play tug of war. He does well with other dogs, but needs to be monitored around them until he gets comfortable. He is great with cats and small animals but does like to chase the cat sometimes to play, otherwise he is very gentle with them.
He has had some behavioral issues with leash pulling, jumping, and some nervous reactivity towards strangers and other dogs. Because of this it takes him some time to get used to other people and songs but afterwards is a sweet boy. Nemo is looking for a home with someone who can be with him for a large portion of the day and has time and patience to continue his necessary training and exercising him. He needs someone who will be understanding of his temperament
