Hi, I`m Ocean! Not long ago, I arrived at WSHS and went straight to foster care with my puppies. Now that they are old enough to go up for adoption, I am looking for my forever home! My personality is sweet, social, playful, and gentle. I`m very shy in new environments, and I look to the people around me to find comfort and reassurance. I am active and playful, but I`m still learning how to play with toys after focusing on my babies for the past few months! I can be dog selective, and have shown a preference for female dogs, dogs my size or smaller, or dogs who don`t try to play with me too much. I`m looking for a home where my new family will take it slow and give me time to get used to new experiences so that I can build confidence and independence. I will also need lots of cuddle time, which is my favorite! If you are looking for a devoted, affectionate companion who could really use some TLC, apply to meet me today!

The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a volunteer-based, no-kill animal rescue that was founded in 1972 in the western suburbs of Chicago. WSHS now finds homes for more than 500 dogs and cats each year!
WSHS is 100% funded by individual, corporate, and private foundations donations, and has over 450 active volunteers! WSHS is caring for about 200 animals at any given time.
