If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Dodger came into our lives in January of 2024 from a Mexican rehab organization. He is a shy guy but very loving once he warms up. We have two kids, so he is used to chaos. He’s very loyal to his family, but takes a long time to warm up to strangers. His only defense is to growl at people he doesn’t know. He has never bitten anyone and is otherwise very gentle.
We are too busy to give Dodger what he needs. He needs several walks a day to ensure he goes to the bathroom outside. He isn’t great at letting you know, so just stay on it and it will be fine.
He is a sweet boy and I hope we can find him a home that he can thrive in.
