My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am here at the shelter with my friend, Keely. I am timid when I meet new people, but I am becoming more friendly with the staff and volunteers. I like to sit in my window and talk to the humans who take care of me. I like to play with the teaser wand toys, but prefer to play close to my hiding place. I was an outside cat before coming to Safe Haven, so I am still getting used to indoor life and humans. I will need a very understanding person who will let me go at my own pace. If you are that someone special, please fill out an application for me. Thank you!

This 2 year old purrfect felines adoption donation is $75 which includes spay, microchip, rabies vaccine, FVRCP vaccine, flea/tick preventative, and dewormer. Please fill out an adoption application at www.safehavenforpets.org. If you have any further questions, please email safehaven1471@gmail.com or call 815-858-2265.

Additional adoption info

Once an application is approved, we ask potential adopters to come to the shelter to visit the pet or pets they are interested in. If it seems like a great fit, then we would have you fill out the Adoption Contract and provide you with the pet's medical chart, some of the food it is currently eating, and offer any advice we can on that individual cat or dog.
