Howdy! ‘Round these parts they call me Cowboy. I’m a 4 y/o Labrottie fixin’ to find my new home. I reckon I sound a bad egg bein’ mixed, but it’s my ace in the hole. I have the playful affection of a Lab and watchful instincts and loyalty of a Rottie. I like kids, tolerate cats, and happy to see other dogs even if I’m a greenhorn knowin’ how to play with ‘em. I am strong and energetic (perfect for long days on the trail), and emotionally available willing to love my family ‘til the cows come home. But please don’t rope what you can’t ride - I need an old ranch hand to be my Cowboss ‘less I start thinkin’ I can be in charge and stop listenin’ to good sense!

Animal Care Services (ACS) does not accept online submission of adoption applications. All adoptions are on a first come, first served basis.
1. Tour the kennels and find a pet you’re interested in. The shelter staff can help you get acquainted with your new friend.
2. Bring in the family (even the four-legged members) to meet your prospective pet.
3. Once you've made a decision, head to the ACS Adoption Center to complete your adoption.
NOTE: Adoptions are processed 30 minutes prior to closing time.

We include the following services in the adoption fee:
Spay and neuter surgery
Lifetime registered microchip & tag
Rabies vaccination
Flea and tick prevention
First round of vaccinations
NOTE: Pets under the age of four months will need to be brought back to receive their rabies shots.
