Meet Foxy! This energetic, adventurous pup is full of playful enthusiasm and thrives on activity - fetch at the park, tug games, zoomies after walks, you name it. Highly motivated by both toys and food, she’s smart, eager to learn, and incredibly trainable. She loves spending time with her people, though she often doesn’t cuddle for long because she’s quickly on the move to her next mission, although she will never turn down a belly rub. She loves being outside playing, exploring, and taking in everything around her.

Foxy is adjusting well to life in a busy downtown neighbourhood, taking the sights and sounds of dogs and people in stride. She walks nicely on leash and offers great engagement, though she can pull when she’s excited or a bit anxious. She tends to be shy when first meeting other dogs but warms up with a bit of time and would likely do very well living with another dog. She has also met a cat at the vet clinic and greeted it calmly and curiously, so she would likely do well sharing her home with a dog-savvy cat. Her curious nature shines through on walks too, she loves watching and occasionally trying to chase birds and small animals. Indoors, she can be vocal - barking when she’s playing, training, or wanting attention, so a home without shared walls would be best. With her energy level and drive, she’d make an excellent running buddy or an enthusiastic partner for a variety of dog sports.

At home, Foxy enjoys greeting visitors and warms up to new people quickly, especially when pets are offered. She’s fully house trained and does well in her crate when left alone or overnight, usually whining a bit before settling. She would thrive with a family who can provide her with plenty of exercise and would love to do fun, engaging training with her. With her smarts, drive, and love for adventure, Foxy has endless potential. If you’re looking for an active, motivated companion who’s ready to learn and explore by your side, she may be the perfect fit for your family!
