Jack was rescued from a high kill shelter in South Korea when I lived and worked there in 2014. He was already two when I adopted him and showed some signs of abuse and neglect.
He has been my side kick for the last 11 years. He’s a super loyal (definitely a breed characteristic), but doesn’t do well with other dogs (unless introduced the right way - he’s got kicked out of daycare for not taking social cues and starting things), has not been tested with cats. He has some collar and neck sensitivity and has bitten and nipped a few people (around food or in high stress situations where we have large groups of people over and strangers try to pet him).
He would be a great dog for someone without kids or other animals. He’s a great walker and sleeps 70% of the day. He is a sweet heart and we would love to keep him but we have an active 2 year old and the two don’t mix well.
